Blood moon bursts
my bubble of bliss.
Datura’s sweet white scent
accosts my nostrils.
Magpie carries a crystal stolen
from my pocket.
Oboe plays a midnight serenade.
Madrones silhouette against the moon.
Starlight punctures inky darkness.
Bat wings cut the air like scissors
reveal stories of star crossed lovers.
Standing naked, clothed only
in gloves, hat and boots,
you entice me to your bed of roses.
Midnight, you are a lascivious lover.

Dang! I hope you’re not trompin’ around nekkid outside, these frosty nights. But the images in this one are marvelous!
